At National Church Residences we have a simple motto that keeps us highly motivated; Better Living for Seniors. Each word of our motto gives us the direction and focus we need to follow the mission we believe God has called us to.Apply Today
Today we have grown to be the largest nonprofit provider of affordable housing for seniors. As such, we are reminded daily that we have a responsibility that is far beyond our human ability; we need God’s help and yours.
National Church Residences has always had a strong foundation of faith, we were started by four Presbyterian churches, and our company name certainly indicates that faith is essential to who we are and how we care for our residents.
But providing the kind of spiritual care our residents want and need requires partnerships with faith communities of all beliefs and denominations. That is why we have a Volunteer Chaplaincy program.
This vital program allows us to train and deploy competent spiritual care givers(Chaplains) who can support and encourage the spiritual life of our residents.
If you have a desire to be used of God to do good in the lives of Seniors we would love to talk to you about becoming a Volunteer Chaplain with National Church Residents.

Even though our bodies will weaken and become frail, our faith doesn’t have to. Spiritual Care is one of the greatest ways we can demonstrate the dignity of human life. Unlike business acumen and physical prowess which are limited and temporal, our spirit is eternal. By caring for the spiritual needs of seniors we are reminding them that their value is in who they are, not what they can do or can no longer do!
Won’t you join us in this important ministry?
Our volunteer chaplains have the chance to offer our seniors support as they navigate new challenges and celebrate life’s many blessings. If you’re currently a volunteer chaplain or thinking about becoming one, check out our resources below:
