Questions About Assisted Living? Answered.

Who should consider assisted living?

Assisted Living may be appropriate for an older adult who wants a residential community and needs help with personal care, medications, meals, mobility, or household tasks. The resident will be assessed to confirm that Harmony Trace can meet current needs.

How is assisted living different from a nursing home?

Assisted Living provides personal care and support in a residential setting. A nursing home provides a higher level of ongoing medical and skilled nursing care. The appropriate setting depends on health conditions, functional needs and provider recommendations.

What happens if care needs increase?

The team will reassess the resident, discuss changes with the resident and authorized contacts and explain whether services can be adjusted within Assisted Living. If a different setting is needed, the team will discuss Memory Care or other options based on availability and the residents’ needs.

What’s included in the Assisted Living monthly fee?

Our studio and one-bedroom apartments are designed for comfort and care with utilities, housekeeping, laundry, and meals included in the monthly fee. Total monthly pricing consists of the apartment rate plus a level of care fee. The level of care fee is determined through an assessment completed prior to move-in and reflects each resident’s care needs and support services.

Is support available overnight?

Our care team is available 24 hours a day.  All rooms are equipped with a call system should support be needed.
