Questions About Assisted Living? Answered.

How does assisted living at Legacy Village Assisted Living differ from a nursing home?

Assisted living supports residents who need help with daily activities while encouraging independence, social engagement, and personal choice. Nursing homes typically provide a higher level of medical care and supervision.

Does insurance cover or pay for assisted living?

While most traditional health insurance plans do not cover room and board in assisted living, some long-term care insurance policies may help offset costs. We recommend speaking with your insurance provider for details.

Are the assisted living apartments furnished?

Apartments are designed to provide a comfortable, residential setting, but residents are encouraged to furnish and personalize their space to feel at home.

Can I bring my own furniture and decor?

Absolutely. Residents are encouraged to bring their favorite furnishings, photos, and personal items to create a space that feels comfortable and familiar.

What if I or my loved one needs more than what’s provided in assisted living?

Because Legacy Village offers a continuum of care, residents may have access to additional support services and care options should their needs change over time.

Do I or my loved one need to be an independent living resident before becoming an assisted living resident?

No. Residents can move directly into assisted living without first living in independent living. Our team can help determine the living option that best meets current needs.
