The Woodlands

Middletown, Ohio – National Church Residences has added another affordable housing community to its portfolio by acquiring The Woodlands on Lafayette, the organization’s fourth senior rental community in Middletown, Ohio. The organization purchased the property on May 28, 2020, from strategic partner Volunteers of America, who originally developed The Woodlands on Lafayette in 2005. Property management also transitioned from Volunteers of America with the sale.

The 50-unit community will serve seniors age 55 and older, offering one- and two-bedroom apartment homes. Amenities include a recreation room, walking paths, on-site laundry and a secure-access entrance. The Woodlands at Lafayette is located at 2101 South Main Street, with an on-site bus stop and nearby shopping, restaurants and pharmacies.

“We are pleased to grow our presence in Middletown with the acquisition of The Woodlands on Lafayette,” said Director of Senior Acquisitions, Daniel Patrick. “We are committed to helping seniors in the community age in place and remain home for life in high-quality, affordable housing.”

Other National Church Residences’ communities in Middletown include Dublin House at 1425 Central Avenue, Mayfield Village at 2030 Aaron Drive and Trinity Manor at 301 Clark Street. With the addition of The Woodlands on Lafayette, these four properties offer more than 240 units of senior housing to area residents.
