Paul Koehler, National Church Residences new VP of IT.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – National Church Residences, a leading provider of senior housing and healthcare services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Koehler as the organization’s new vice president of Information Technology (IT). In his new role, Koehler is spearheading initiatives to transform the technological landscape, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Koehler, based in the home office in Columbus, Ohio, also is responsible for defining and implementing an IT strategy that helps the organization achieve its business goals and furthers the mission of serving 100,000 seniors by 2030. Koehler will lead the company in identifying and implementing innovative improvements to business systems, applications and technology. In addition, Koehler will partner with business leaders to determine information needs throughout the organization, identify new systems software and hardware, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the technology functions.

Koehler brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in driving innovation. His extensive experience in a matrixed organization is a testament to his ability to lead and evaluate the organization’s IT capabilities, aligning them seamlessly with business objectives. Prior to joining National Church Residences, Koehler served as chief information officer at Wallick Communities, where he played a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the organization’s information technology landscape for nearly a decade.

Wallick Communities, headquartered in Columbus, is a regional housing provider, specializing in the development, construction and management of multifamily affordable housing and senior living. During his time at Wallick, Koehler is credited for leading the company through its digital transformation. Koehler also served in multiple leadership roles, including chief administrative officer, where he led the company’s human resources, marketing and strategic planning functions.
