National Church Residences Announces Tara Aschenbrand to Lead Human Resources and Adam Axcell to Guide Strategy and Growth

New National Church Residences employees, Tara Aschenbrand, new Chief Human Resources Officer and Adam Axcell, Chief Strategy and Growth Officer.

COLUMBUS, Ohio ­– National Church Residences is pleased to announce the hiring of new Chief Human Resources Officer, Tara Aschenbrand and the new Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, Adam Axcell. Both are based in the organization’s central office in Columbus, Ohio.

Aschenbrand most recently served as vice president and associate general counsel at OhioHealth, where she led a team supporting a workforce of 35,000 individuals across an extensive network of 15 hospitals, over 200 ambulatory sites and administrative offices. There she partnered with both human resources and operations on all aspects of process, policy, benefits and employee relations. Aschenbrand is the former president of the Ohio Women’s Bar Association and serves on the board of directors of Flying Horse Farms. She graduated with honors from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Axcell will lead corporate strategy and growth, including marketing, sales, external affairs and communications. He’s demonstrated results in leading companies to success across consumer-packaged-goods, manufacturing operations, insurance and health care.

Axcell most recently served as general manager, leading the Medicare Support Center at CVS.  CVS Health is the leading health solutions company, with over 300,000 colleagues – including more than 40,000 physicians, pharmacists, nurses and nurse practitioners. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto and an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration from Brock University, both located in Ontario, Canada.
