Salem, Ohio – National Church Residences has added another affordable senior housing community by acquiring Salem Senior Housing in Salem, Ohio. The organization purchased the property and transitioned property management on August 28, 2020, from PathStone, who previously both owned and managed Salem Senior.

The 48-unit community will serve seniors age 55 and older, offering two-bedroom apartment homes with in-unit laundry hook-up, dishwasher, large walk-in closets and front and rear patios. Amenities include a community room with a warming kitchen, a computer lab and an on-site laundry. Salem Senior Apartments is located at 996 West Perry Street on a beautifully landscaped campus that features large outdoor gathering spaces.

“We are excited to welcome Salem Senior Housing to the National Church Residences family of communities,” said Director of Senior Acquisitions, Daniel Patrick. “Preserving high-quality, affordable senior housing is part of our mission, and adding Salem Senior to our portfolio will help area seniors remain home for life in a comfortable and familiar place.”

With the addition of Salem Senior, National Church Residences now has 1,382 units of senior housing in Northeast Ohio.
