“Water's Edge of Lake Wales is a LIFE SAVER for my Dad, JR! Dad weighed 101 lbs and continuing to loose weight when he moved to Water's Edge, but in just 2 weeks he weighed 110 lbs! The transition for Dad was easily made within the first week of living at Water's Edge. He is socializing with the residents and friendly staff! Enjoying meals with friends, watching ping pong games, attending events & activities, getting his hair cut, joins the guys for a game of pool, attends the Friday Happy Hours with all kinds of beverages, wonderful hor d'erves, and even chocolate fondue, watches movies & eating popcorn in their theater about 4 times a week, was honored as a Combat Veteran and enjoyed 4th of July celebrations, was chauffeured to his home 30 miles round trip to pick up a few things, the receptionists always greet him with a smile, remind him of events and help with any questions he may have in addition to ensuring he receives his calls and messages, and he also gets to FaceTime with friends and family – it's so wonderful to see my Dad and hear his voice! That is the "fun" part, let me share the peace I have knowing Dad is in a safe, clean environment, with cheerful, watchful and helpful staff, he has his own private apartment with a full kitchen and oversized bathroom, he has a medical alert device, nurses and doctor check on him 24/7, Management are completely supportive and maintain constant communication concerning my Dad's care program, Dad doesn't have to drive himself to appointments/hospital/emergency room and wait for care, his prescriptions are delivered to Water's Edge, they administer/monitor his prescription doses, assists with daily living activities, there is a security/monitoring system, he enjoys three hot meals (and usually 2 desserts!) prepared by a chef and served by a waitress, healthy snacks are always offered, daily transportation to the local stores, exercise equipment and programs, heated swimming pool, partnership with Pinnacle Home HealthCare and a rehabilitation center if needed, and so much more…But most important are the Water's Edge employees. They are professionals with caring hearts who give attention to detail and have a desire to serve their residents – 24/7! My Dad's life has been transformed by Water's Edge superior care and heartfelt love and attention. I will forever be grateful to Water's Edge for ensuring my Dad's Golden Years are the best possible. “My father is now 98 and has had an Assisted Living apartment at Waters Edge since he was 94 and they treat him like a King. I could not imagine a better place to care for his needs and to allow him to age gracefully. Thanks to the caring and constantly innovative staff of Waters Edge and their parent company. They are constantly in search of a way to do better today than they did yesterday.”

“Overall, Waters Edge is amazing. However, today when I went in my moms room, there was feces on the outside of the toilet, and on the toilet seat as well as places on the floor in the bathroom and in the kitchen. I cleaned it up.”

“I am so thankful for the staff at Water's Edge. My parents have really enjoyed the safety and security this facility provides. It is truly like a family. From the Director to the housekeeper, each one goes out of their way to ensure a great experience. With weekly housekeeping, transportation, activities and a nice variety of menu options, they have maneuvered Covid well by screening visitors, providing safe visiting options, closed down the dining room and delivering meals to the rooms, and then opening the dining room with social distancing. I have been very impressed with the way they have handled the pandemic with the residents care and safety at the forefront. The receptionists and dining room servers treat my folks and all the residents as their own parents or grandparents. This is so rare and means so much to me. The facility is maintained beautifully and has some beautiful views over a lovely pond. I can highly recommend.”

“Wanted to share my our experience with my mother's care. Being 754 miles away is surely a rough situation to ensure Mother was taken care of. Folks the Staff are far above 5 stars and they love all the residents like its their family. They always were more than accommodating with my distance to ensure that mother was taken care of. She was very comfortable and pleased with her stay there. We came and got her and brought her back to TN where family lives and she still asks about Water's Edge.
