“I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff and atmosphere at First Community Village. My elderly mother started off in the Healthcare Center for rehabilitation. The staff from the cleaning crew to the nurses to the physical therapists were all kind and considerate and understanding. They made us all feel welcome and confident that our mother was getting the best of care. They were genuine and professional and our family felt that they all truly cared about our mother and her well being. We then moved her to assisted living and the transition was flawless thanks to the diligence of the staff. She has continued to receive care with smiles and tenderness. She loves the food and activities and is constantly saying how nice everyone is to her. We are very blessed to have found such a wonderful living situation for our mother. Thanks to all of you.”

“First Community Village is one of the best skilled nursing facilities in Central Ohio. To give you a perspective, I am a doctor who comes there among other skilled nursing facilities for consultations so I tend to notice things you might not otherwise consider in the care of your family members. People there care about the patients. I have never heard a staffmember say "that isn't my patient" or "that isn't my responsibility"; everyone is willing and excited to take good care of patients even early in the morning when they think no one is watching. And it shows – the patients are happy and well taken care of. I would have no problem recommending that my own friends or family members stay here if they needed.”

“This is the perfect place for me! I enjoy watching the changing seasons from my balcony. The staff is awesome, helpful and happy. The residents are interesting and involved. There are so many activities: weekly coffee and chat, chair volleyball, book clubs, a workshop, monthly Ladies Lunch Bunch and a men's gathering lunch, education lectures, balance classes, dancing, a very active art group, Bible study, movies ….to name only a few. I appreciate a heated garage, weekly housekeeping, delicious and nutritious meals and being able to call maintenance when an appliance needs attention.
