Hear From Our Residents

“This is an excellent residence. Jeremy and all the staff have made the transition of moving my sister and brother-in-law there exceptionally smooth. They have answered many questions and gone above and beyond to make them feel welcome and at home. We have great confidence that our loved ones are being well cared for there.”
– Kim Batty
“I visit the Chillicothe campus frequently and have the opportunity to interact with the tenured team, residents, and families, and it’s always a positive experience. The team is dedicated, welcoming, and genuinely invested in the people they serve. The campus itself is beautiful, well maintained, and has such a warm, inviting atmosphere. I especially appreciate that residents and families can find everything they need on one campus—from independent living, assisted living, to rehabilitation– and more! It’s clear that this is a community where people truly care about one another.”
– Stephanie C.
“My experience at the Glades has exceeded my expectations. Prior to moving here, I lived in an Assisted Living residence in Damascus, Maryland. I shared a room with another resident. The monthly cost was greater than the monthly rent for a two bedroom apartment. The weekly menu was repetitive with no alternatives. My apartment here is lovely. I appreciate the privacy more than you could know. The staff has been professional, respectful, and friendly. They go the extra mile to please. The dining facility and the cuisine are outstanding. The top menu entre changes every day. The alternatives are always available to satisfy if the top entre does not appeal that day. The variety of side-dishes keep the dinners continuously interesting. I can't complement the wait staff enough. By name, Angela, Molly, and Jessica are wonderful. In summary, I can't imagine a better fit for me. I'm happy with the staff and all the residents with whom I've come into contact. Many I would now call friends. Thank you for the opportunity to express my heart-felt opinions. I'm delighted to be home.”

“Our Mom has been at Traditions in Chillicothe for several years now and has enjoyed it. She was in independent living first and got along great. Enjoyed the people and the food and activities. She got cancer and had to go to rehab and then we moved her to assisted living where she is now. The nurses and aides there are so kind and sweet to her and so very helpful. So happy to have her in a place that cares!!!”
– Cindy carlisle
“I was quite pleased how the transition was as our family moved our family member from the Glades to The Heritage. The nurses, the aids and staff was very helpful, caring and curtious. It can be an emotional roller coaster as you go through the decision and steps to do whats best for your loved one. In our case the staff at the Hertiage made my family and our loved one experience very pleasant and reassuring that our loved one will be safe and well care for.”
– Theresa Damron
“We began talking with Jeremy Smith about moving my parents into an independent living apartment around the time my mother’s health began a rapid decline. She passed away a few weeks later, but we proceeded with moving my father into a two bedroom/one bathroom apartment and we couldn’t be more pleased with this decision! He receives two warm, fresh meals a day, he has someone clean his apartment regularly. He attends church, bible study, bingo, movie day, etc.—all activities provided on-site to the residents free of charge. The Concierge picks up prescriptions and grabs groceries or whatever he needs. And if (or when) his health begins to decline, the assisted living building is just next door. The long-term care facility is beside that. So no matter what, he’s set, which comes as a huge relief to me and my family. Everyone there is so nice and accommodating. Even my stubborn Dad said “Me and your Mom should have come here years ago.” Thank you for caring for my loved one so well. Beth (Stevens) Smallwood”

“I like living here people are kind friendly The staff is wonderful. we have several activities such as bingo, movies, cards, puzzles, diamond painting classes, and others planed for this year.”
– Sue Kirk
“My mom lives at The Glade and she really likes it. She has lived there for over 2 years. They have went above and beyond for her. They are always accommodating to your needs. The building is secure. If you are unable to go to the dinner, you can have your meals delivered to you. They have someone that cleans the apartments. My mom’s refrigerator went bad and they replaced it that day. My mom has made some very nice friends as well. It’s been really good for her. My dad was in Traditions prior to his passing, so that made it nice as well. I highly recommend.”
– Cathy Zickafoose
“Mom has been at the National Church Residences Heritage Assisted Living for almost a year. I visit often and try to go at different times of the day. The Heritage is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Mom has fallen several times and the nurses and aides have helped her recover from each fall. Transitioning from our home to assisted living wasn't easy for Mom, but the the staff has made every effort to help her feel welcomed and to help her settle in.”
– Cindy Pagano
“Our brother who has dementia lived in your independent living facility 8 mos. He had a great experience. Very nice apartments in a quiet area. The neighbors and the kitchen staff were very helpful.thanks.”
