In her role as Senior Vice President of Home & Community Services, Spitznagel is responsible for the integration of National Church Residences’ growing home care, hospice, primary care and adult day services.

In addition, Spitznagel oversees the Service Coordination program which provides quality assurance programming for more than 600 service coordinators nationwide. Spitznagel previously served as Vice President of Support Services. Spitznagel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social work from The Ohio State University in 1991, and in 1997 received a Master of Science in Health Administration from Central Michigan University. She is a licensed social worker in the State of Ohio.

Prior to joining National Church Residences, Spitznagel was employed as a health care planning consultant by URS Corporation and a Healthcare Administrator for Mt. Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio
