New Partnership Expands Home Health Care and Services to Seniors in Belmont Co.

11/16/2019 | Recent News

A new partnership with one of the largest home care providers in the country will bring much needed health care and services to senior residents of Belmont County this week. Addus HomeCare is opening a new satellite office at the newly renovated Bridgeport Manor, an affordable senior housing community located at 1 Gould Park Road in Bridgeport, Ohio. The partnership with National Church Residences, owner and operator of Bridgeport Manor, will kick off with a grand opening event in the Community Room on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 1-3:30 p.m.

Addus Homecare has been offering a comprehensive range of home care services since 1979. From companionship to personal care, respite care, and private duty, Addus HomeCare’s services are designed to keep clients healthy and safe while independent in their own home.

“We chose this partnership with National Church Residences because our companies share many of the same core values and work towards a similar mission of providing assistance to those who want to remain independent in their home,” said Kathy Seabright,” Agency Director with Addus HomeCare.

Both Addus and National Church Residences were searching for ways to better meet the needs of seniors they currently serve and to assist more individuals.

“This will be very beneficial for our residents and for many seniors living throughout Belmont County because there’s a shortage of providers in this area,” said Service Coordinator, Cindy Foose of National Church Residences. “We have many seniors with disabilities that could use home care services to help them remain living independently.”

An experienced registered nurse will be available to meet with Bridgeport Manor residents when in the office. The senior residents can expect to receive screenings and further education on their overall health from the Addus HomeCare team.

“We’re excited and energized for this opportunity to serve the Bridgeport area as an addition to our national continuum of care,” said Seabright.

Addus currently provides home care services in Belmont County, as well as the five surrounding counties of Jefferson, Carroll, Harrison, Muskingum, and Tuscarawas. Additionally, Addus has office locations in nearby Wintersville and Belpre, Ohio.

National Church Residences serves more than 42,000 seniors through its array of housing and health care services. With 340 communities in 25 states and Puerto Rico, it is the nation’s largest not-for-profit provider of affordable senior housing.

All seniors and their caregivers are welcome to attend the grand opening. Those in attendance will have a chance to meet with staffs from Addus and Bridgeport Manor, ask questions and pick up additional information. If you have questions, please call the office at Bridgeport Manor at 844-211-4730 for more information.
