J. Lynn Anderson has been named Chair of the National Church Residences Board of Directors. An Ohio Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of The Ohio State University, Anderson joined the National Church Residences Board of Directors in February 2010.
“I have been blessed to be associated with National Church Residences for the past nine years,” said Anderson. “From the amazing leadership team to my talented fellow board members, this organization’s focus on delivering excellent housing and care to seniors is inspiring.”
Anderson will serve a two-year term as the Chair of the Board. The Board of Directors at National Church Residences has been an essential driver for the organization’s success in achieving its mission to provide quality housing and care for seniors.
“As Board Chair it is my goal to support our associates in serving an ever-expanding number of seniors in our facilities and in their own homes.”
National Church Residences is governed by a volunteer board of directors that may have up to 24 members. The Board members represent a wide array of professions, including bankers, lawyers, ministers, social workers and other community leaders.
Anderson recently retired after serving as the President and CEO of Nationwide Bank, an affiliate of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. She holds the designations of Certified Internal Auditor, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Reinsurance.
In addition, Anderson also serves as Audit Committee Chair on the Board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati and as a member of the Westerville Board of Zoning Appeals. She is a member of the National Association of Directors, Women Corporate Directors, and Women for Economic and Leadership Development.
