Jim Savage has served on the Board since 2004 and became Chairman on January 1, 2017. His passion for the mission of National Church Residences was ignited after he witnessed the extraordinary care that his Mother received while living in a National Church Residences facility. He grew up in Chillicothe where he attended First Presbyterian Church, one of National Church Residence’s four founding churches, and is an ordained elder in one of the others, Boulevard Presbyterian Church. He has been a civil trial lawyer in Columbus since 1981, practicing in his own firm for twenty five years and now as of counsel to Anspach Meeks Ellenberger, LLP. His practice is limited to business and construction disputes. He graduated from Duke University, magna cum laude, and Washington University School of Law and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America (Commercial Litigation), Super Lawyers (Commercial and Construction Litigation), Martindale Hubble (“AV” rating) and the Multi-Million Dollar Jury Verdict forum.
