Deb Russell is a retired senior executive with international experience and an extensive background in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Russell began her career with Eli Lilly, Guidant’s parent company, in 1983 as a Process Engineer. She held various titles within the corporation throughout her career including Managing Director of Guidant Ireland (1998-2001), Vice President of Operations, Endovascular Solutions (2001-2002) and finally Vice President/Managing Director of Australia/New Zealand.
Russell is a Magna cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. She later graduated from the University of Michigan’s Executive Program in Finance.
Recognized as one of the “Top 50 Most Influential Women in Ireland” in 2000, Russell has served on a multitude of boards throughout her career including the Board of Directors of the Irish Medical Devices Association, the Advisor Board for the Northwestern University Kellogg Master Manufacturing Management Program and the Board of Directors of the Medical Industry Association of Australia. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Chillicothe Country Club, the United Way, the Ross County YMCA, Ohio University-Chillicothe campus and the First Presbyterian Church of Chillicothe.
Russell joined the National Church Residences Board of Directors in January 2013.
