Thank you so much for your warmth, your kindness, your support, and your genuineness. From the first day we stepped through the doors here we felt a strong sense of community and belonging. You all welcomed my dad (and our entire family!) with open arms and smiles. We felt confident in his well-being and care because of the competence demonstrated by the staff but also because it was clear everyone here is part of a family. We feel so blessed that Dad found joy and new friendships here and, I believe, he came to view this place as his home. He was truly loved by everyone and that has been the most treasured gift of all to us.
Thank you for the prayers, messages, cards, visits, encouragement, and advice over the last number of weeks. In this deep valley we are comforted in knowing Dad is restored and with our Lord!"

"Dear Friends at National Church Residences Mill Run,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful donation to the National Church Residences Foundation in Memory of my mom, Jean. As I have told many of you, I can’t say how much I appreciate the wonderful and excellent care she received there. I do believe that you saved her life when she came there almost 2.5 years ago and you gave us over two years longer with her.
The staff is absolutely the best and treated her with kindness, dignity and love. I couldn’t have asked for more! I will be forever grateful.
With love to all,"

"Bill and I are deeply appreciative of all the care you and the staff of Mill Run gave to our Aunt, especially during her final weeks of life. Caring for people as their health and memory declines is difficult work that requires great sensitivity and patience. You and the people at Mill Run have those qualities. You understood her desire for independence and tried to accommodate her needs.
We especially want to thank the nurses, Hollie, Kim, and Mary, and Sue, the supervisor, who were so helpful to us in managing our Aunt’s care. Please share this note with them, as well as with the (National Church Residences’) hospice team. Thank you all!"

"I just wanted to thank you (and your staff) for the wonderful welcome at your facility on Friday with my in-laws.
My husband was on the phone with his brother that night totally bragging on you and your staff and telling him how wonderful you all were, how nice your facility was, how he could tell you really cared, and how impressed they were that you all engaged their dad directly (since my mother-in-law often answers for him, not many people keep talking to my father-in-law and it turns into discussions about him).
Again, I just wanted to share the bragging that my husband did with his brother - and thank you again!!"

"Dear Stephanie, Linda, Sarah, Sarah, Larry, and Ty!
I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all the care that you have shown Jim and me during our first week at NCR. All of you have been "over the top" wonderful, warm and friendly and helpful. I have been so impressed with everybody. The nurses, the aides, everyone. If I had to go to a facility I would want to go to yours. I feel so comforted knowing that he is getting the best of care and that everyone has his best interests at heart. I understand your sense of community, your sense of family.
It has been a pleasure getting to know all of you wonderful people."

"I wanted to take this opportunity to express my heart felt thanks to each and everyone of your staff that provided love, compassion and professional care for my Karin as she traveled on her difficult journey.
You cared for her as if she were a family member or life long friend. You never had to say it, it was in your smile, your eyes.
You were truly angels on her shoulder as she sailed through rough seas to finally arrive at "Port Heaven."
I will love and remember you all forever, I'll never forget the wonderful way you took care of my Karin."
