On Monday, February 15, a fire broke out in one of the apartments on the 6th floor of Clark East Tower, one of our high rise, senior affordable housing communities located in Ypsilanti, MI. Fortunately, no one was hurt, however the building sustained significant smoke and water damage resulting in over 200 residents having to be evacuated. These residents are safe, but had to leave behind most of their belongings and currently, there is no estimated time when they can return to their homes.

How can you help? The Resident Emergency Fund was created to assist our residents when tragedy strikes. Your donation to the fund will help us provide emergency relief to these individuals while their lives return to normal. Something as simple as a grocery gift card can make a significant difference in someone’s life during times of uncertainty.
