Peter Pavarini joins Board of Directors

COLUMBUS - National Church Residences is excited to announce that Peter Pavarini has joined the organization's Board of Directors.

Pavarini is a frequent speaker and author on the transformation of the US healthcare system. As the co-leader of the Healthcare Practices Group at Squire Patton Boggs, he focuses his legal practice on representing hospitals and other healthcare providers in a wide range of strategic, regulatory and transactional matters.

Pavarini joined the National Church Residences Board of Directors in December 2016 bringing with him nearly 40 years of legal expertise in the healthcare field.

He has devoted his entire legal career to addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by healthcare regulatory reforms and marketplace trends. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for healthcare since 1991.

The immediate past president of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), Pavarini and his spouse founded the Grace Clinic of Delaware County (Ohio), a free medical ministry that has served thousands of patients who lack access to basic health services.

A summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York, Pavarini obtained his Juris Doctorate from Boston College in 1977. He has also taught at the collegiate and post-graduate levels since 1979, including at The Ohio State University Fisher School of Business, Capital University Law School and Park College.

He was the editor-in-chief of United States Health Care Laws and Rules from 1995 to 2006, the legal editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine since 2006 and the editor-in-chief of the Health Law Journal of Ohio from 1989 to 1994.
