“Our goal is to raise awareness of the issues impacting the rapidly growing number of seniors who are and will be resource-constrained in the metro Atlanta area,” said National Church Residences Executive Vice President of External Affairs and Strategic Initiatives Michelle Norris. “We seek a mayor who will lead the efforts to ensure that all aging Atlanta residents have access to critical resources needed to stay healthy and to remain home for life.”

National Church Residences provides housing and supportive services for seniors and vulnerable individuals enabling  them to live healthier and more satisfying lives. National Church Residences decided to host its first mayoral forum as an outlet for its 1,200 metro Atlanta residents and the surrounding community to gain information from mayoral candidates in an educational format.

At the forum the mayoral candidates will share their visions for seniors’ success in Atlanta.  In addition, candidates will answer questions about affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, homelessness, and transportation.

Attendees are asked to join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #ATL4Seniors.
