Q: Do I purchase my Legacy Village home?
A: When moving to Legacy Village, you secure lifetime use of your home. An entrance fee is paid based on the size of the home. These funds help maintain our community, and preserve assets for you or your estate.
Q: How does Legacy Village compare with other Ohio retirement communities?
A: Legacy Village provides far more value for your dollar. We have significantly larger and more complete community areas and facilities. We provide over 60 beautiful lots with 25 available for new builds. Our healthcare program reflects years of outstanding, affordable service to residents.
Q: How do Active Retirement and Continuing Care communities differ?
A: Active retirement communities generally provide independent living for adults 55 and better, with varying levels of amenities and services. Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) offer adults 62 and better independent living with a wide range of amenities and services, plus on-site health and continuum of care that often includes assisted living and memory care, enabling residents to stay on campus even if personal needs change.
Q: What is the difference between Assisted Living and Memory Care?
A: Assisted living is an environment designed for seniors with different care needs. Some may need just medication and meal assistance while others may need assistance with personal care or activities of daily living. In assisted living we create individualized care plans to meet the needs of each individual resident. A: Memory Care is designed for residents with memory issues that need to be in a secured environment with routine activities and specialized staff trained to care for residents with these specific needs. The rate is all inclusive.
Q: How do I pay for Assisted Living?
A: Our assisted living accepts private pay, Long-Term Care Insurance, Medicaid Waiver, and Veterans Assistance. To learn more about these payment options please call us at 866-754-9072.
