  • Antique Tractor and Machinery Show – June 2–4
    The antique tractor and machinery show features a variety of displays, live entertainment, demonstrations, craft booths, raffles, parades, camping, and many more activities for the entire family. It is held at the Pike County Fair Grounds in Piketon, Ohio.
  • Waverly Street Fest – June 9
    From live country and bluegrass music to a beer garden to the Great Ohio Goat Drop, there are plenty of great attractions at this event which offers free admission. Best yet, all profits from the event go toward local charities! (Facebook page)
  • Elm Grove Days – June 10-11
    Sponsored by the Elm Grove Fire Department, this annual event has free admission and is family oriented. Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities like arts and crafts, games, spinning and weaving, a Chinese auction, the queen’s pageant, and a fish fry! The event starts at 11 a.m. on June 10 at 80 Elm Grove Hill Rd.
  • Pike Lake Appalachian Music Festival – June
    Enjoy food and fun and come see musicians from all over southern Ohio perform in a wide variety of genres. Best yet, admission is free! The festival takes place at the outdoor amphitheater at the Pike Lake State Park in Bainbridge. (Facebook page)
  • Piketon July 4th Wing Ding
    This annual event at Piketon High School includes a fireworks display, free food, entertainment, and much more for the whole family to enjoy! They encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs so you can sit and admission is free. The event starts at 3 p.m.  (Website)
  • Dailyville Heritage Days – July 8
    Join the fun at the Dailyville Ball Park in Waverly for food, entertainment, and fireworks! Admission is free and food is served around 4 p.m.
  • Railroad Days Rendezvous – July 15
    With food, live music, and games, this cool event emphasizes the impact that railroads have had on Ohio, and details the history of the railroad within the state. At the event, you’ll find displays of model trains, memorabilia, collectables, and more. Admission is free and the event is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pike Lake State Park.
  • 2017 Ohio State Fair – July 26 – August 6
    From concerts to stage entertainers to rides, and much more, there’s tons to see and do at the Ohio State Fair. Pricing varies based on ticket type, however coupons are available online. (Website)
  • Pike County Fair – July 28 – August 5
    Attend the 108th annual Pike County Fair at the Pike County Fairgrounds. The fair will showcase 4-H projects featuring goats, pigs, cattle, and chickens, along with photography and art exhibits as well. You can also attend horse and mule pulls, tractor pulls, arm wrestling competitions, and a demolition derby. There will be plenty of food choices to select from along with many games.  
  • SamJam Bluegrass Festival – August 31 – September 3
    This 4-day festival is perfect for bluegrass fans, and camping for the fest is easy since water and electric outlets are both available. The event takes place at the Pike County Fairgrounds and you can find out their lineup, ticket prices and more online. (Website)
  • Beaver Oktoberfest – October 5-8
    This local festival was founded in 1985 and runs annually during the first weekend in October. The event offers a wide range of activities for people of all ages to enjoy, such as a baby contest and a chili cook-off. (Website)
  • Harvest Moon Campout – October 6-7
    Enjoy a mix of activities at the Harvest Moon campout, with kids’ games, hayrides, live music, and delicious foods all included. The event is held at Pike Lake State Park and features free admission.
  • Bristol Village Fair – October 13-14
    Our own annual event showcases a collection of unique creations by residents, including jewelry, toys, paintings, quilts, and stained glass art. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Website)
  • Paint It Pink Pike County – October 22
    Now in its third year, the Paint It Pink Pike County 5k Walk/Run raises awareness for breast cancer and helps gather funds for the SOMC Breast Cancer Compassion Fund. Participate, or enjoy live entertainment, all while raising funds to help women with breast cancer receive transportation to appointments, needed supplies for treatment, and much more. The event begins and ends at Grace United Methodist Church Family Life Center at 1 p.m. (Website)
  • Jingle Bell Luminary Parade Weekend – November 17–19
    Start your weekend off right with a beautiful display of thousands of lights in Canal Park and delight in the Candy Cane Variety Show. Then, on Saturday, participate in a 5k run or cheer on the athletes, shop at the craft show, indulge in wine tasting, and the see the largest night time illuminated Christmas Parade in southern Ohio, and much more!   • Wine Tasting and Art Show – November 18
    The annual Wine Tasting and Art Show features delicious Ohio wines and decadent desserts along with a showcase of southern Ohio artists’ work. Enjoy live entertainment and take in the cool atmosphere while giving your taste buds a treat! The event takes place at the Grand Restaurant & Tavern from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
